Chocolate, Wine, and All That Jazz was a success

Thank you to all our sponsors, in-kind donors, attendees, and volunteers! You made this event special -- full of excitement and energy. Thank you for helping us reach our goal for the evening! The money raised from this event will help us continue to provide needed services to individuals and families in our communities.

Emcee Eric Perkins from KARE11 promoted chances to win a $4,600 Chocolate Diamond Necklace donated by EverGreene Jewelers. Our 2008 Queen of Diamonds was Nancy Hylden, who wore the necklace the next day to another event!

Through the generous support of our sponsors, including Mac's Liquor, in-kind donors, attendees and volunteers, we reached our goal and raised $19,000, which will help us continue to provide much-needed services to individuals and families in our communities.

Our 2008 live auction items were:

• St. Croix River gondola ride with picnic and wine
• Four Minnesota Wild vs. Chicago Blackhawks tickets with parking
• D-L.I.S.H. Catering Italian Dinner for 10 with wine pairings
• 12 months of gourmet cookies made by Executive Director Judy Elling
• Authentic Mexican Dinner for 10 with margaritas & serenade
• 4 days/3 nights at a Black Hills Retreat
• Wall of Wine (over 60 bottles of wines)
