History:
ResourceWest was contacted in 2008 by the local library to help create a solution to the increased use and high level of need for computer and internet access. The library did not have the capacity to meet this increasing need. People needed a place to go where they could get free, local assistance looking for work, writing their resumes, and finding affordable housing. We immediately decided we had the space and the potential resources to meet this request. Through a generous grant of $10,000 from the ADC Foundation, ResourceWest’s Community Technology Center (CTC) opened in January 2009 with five computers and free internet access.
